mother when sung at the old howard

when you’re hard up you pawn your
intelligence to buy a drink and when
you’re flush pride keeps

you from the pawn shops and
because you are continually committing
nuisances but more
especially in your own house

are perpetually putting the secret of

I am currently attending Santa Monica College and expect to transfer to a four-year university in the next year. I major in philosophy, and the current dream is to one day teach it to others, and maybe drum up one of my own in hopes that it’s good enough for others to teach someday.
